Dan Carusi
As a Talent Development & Sales Transformation professional and an Experiential Adventure Learning Consultant, Dan helps people and teams improve performance both in and out of the workplace.
A father of two, former Scout leader, coach, horseback rider and climber, Dan leverages the learning from his experiences to help others move outside their own comfort zones.
With 30 years of experience, Dan has expertise in Sales effectiveness & enablement, sales methodology, sales training & development, strategic planning, territory development, leadership development, organizational design & performance, talent development, and sales transformation.
He uses what he learns from his outdoor adventures as tools for teaching, with the end goal of making people uncomfortable and accelerating performance.
Dan has held leadership positions with ORBCOMM, Ellucian, Learning Tree International, Verizon Business, MCI, AT&T Government Markets, and Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, offering a unique blend of industry experience to include hospitality, telecom, technology, and training. He also held the role of Chief Learning Officer & Vice President of Deltek University with Deltek where he built the Sales Enablement and Talent Development function to help drive growth and performance.
Dan is the recipient of multiple Learning in Practice awards from CLO Magazine as well as Brandon Hall Excellence awards for his work in Talent and Learning.
Dan was also previously a full-time Contributor to a fistful of talent publishing articles monthly challenging the latest trends in Talent Management and most recently co-authored “Organizational Change Management for Dummies” and “Talent Management for Dummies”.
Dan is a graduate of Moravian College with a BA in History and is a current member of the Moravian College Business Advisory Council.
Dan along with the 1989 Men’s Track & Field team was recently inducted into the Moravian College Hall of Fame.
